With attendance of Fernando Verdasco Fourth Qatar Asian Junior Tennis tournament concludes

Abubakar Talha of Pakistan claimed the title of boys’ singles event after beating Yunusbek Serikuly of Kazakhstan 6-1 6-1 in the final match.

Zooey Mak of Malaysia hoisted the trophy of girls’ singles event after defeating Medina Utepbergen of Kazakhstan in the final match 6-2 6-1 in the final match.

Zohaib Afzal Malik and Abubakar Talha claimed the title of boys doubles event while Aruzhan Bayalina of Kazakhstan and Djeparova Veronika of Uzbekistan won girls doubles.

The medal ceremony was attended by the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation Secretary General Tariq Zainal and the Spanish Tennis super star Fernando Verdasco.

Zainal congratulated the winners of the event and said the Asian Junior Tournament is an important event on the QTSBF agenda as it brings together a big number of promising Asian players in Doha.

Zainal also thanked the Spanish tennis super star Fernando Verdasco for attending the closing ceremony of the tournament stressing that his attendance will motivate and encourage the young players in their upcoming events.
