أقامت اللجنة المنظمة لبطولة قطر إكسون موبيل المفتوحة للتنس للرجال، حفل عشاء على شرف اللاعبين المشاركين في نسخة العام 2023 من البطولة.
حضر الحفل الذي أقيم مساء الأحد بفندق سانت ريجيس الدوحة عدد من أبرز نجوم البطولة يتقدمهم أندريه روبليف وفيلكس أوجيه إلياسيم وألكسندر زفيريف وحامل اللقب روبيرتو باوتيستا آغوت حيث استمتع الحضور بالعروض الفنية والترفيهية التي شهدها الحفل قبيل المنافسات التي سيشهدها مجمع خليفة الدولي للتنس والاسكواش طوال هذا الأسبوع.
كما شهد الحفل حضور السيد/ طارق زينل أمين السر العام بالاتحاد القطري للتنس والاسكواش والريشة الطائرة وكريم العلمي مدير البطولة وعدداً من أعضاء مجلس إدارة الاتحاد واللجنة المنظمة للبطولة ومسؤولي رابطة اللاعبين المحترفين.
وكانت بطولة قطر إكسون موبيل المفتوحة للتنس قد انطلقت أمس الاثنين وتستمر منافساتها حتى السبت الموافق 25 فبراير 2023 على ملاعب مجمع خليفة الدولي للتنس والاسكواش.

قام المصنف الخامس على العالم أندريه روبليف والمصنف السابع عشر على العالم ألكسندر زفيريف بزيارة أمس الأحد إلى 3-2-1 متحف قطر الأولمبي والرياضي بأسباير زون.
يتألف المتحف من سبع صالات للعرض إلى جوار استاد خليفة الدولي، تحتضن مقتنيات من جميع أنحاء العالم، تروي تاريخ الرياضة منذ بداياتها وحتى العصر الحالي ولعل أبرزها القفازات التي ارتداها ووقع عليها أسطورة الملاكمة محمد علي خلال تصفيات المنتخب الأمريكي المؤهلة لأولمبياد روما 1960 والتي حصل خلالها ملاكم الوزن الثقيل البالغ من العمر حينها 18 عاماً على الميدالية الذهبية.
وخلال الزيارة، قام البطلان الأولمبيان بالتجول في أرجاء المتحف وتعرفا على أبرز مقتنياته الرياضية والأولمبية النادرة بالإضافة إلى العديد من المواد التعليمية التي يقدمها المتحف لزواره.
وكان في استقبال النجمان لدى زيارتهما للمتحف عدد من أكبر مسؤوليه الذين عبروا عن سعادتهم بزيارة لاعبي التنس لهذا الصرح الرياضي الكبير الذي تحتضنه مدينة الدوحة.
وكان روبليف قد حصل على الميدالية الذهبية بمنافسات الزوجي المختلط في أولمبياد طوكيو 2020 بينما حصل زفيريف على الميدالية الذهبية لمنافسات الفردي بنفس النسخة من الألعاب بالعاصمة اليابانية.
